CT Technologist Job in Aberdeen, WA

Grays Harbor Community Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Aberdeen, WA. You'll work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM on 8-hour shifts, earning $3,066 weekly.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform computerized tomography procedures, including invasive procedures
• Operate the Toshiba Aquilon 64-slice scanner with precision and care
• Position and instruct patients for CT procedures
• Determine appropriate technical exposure factors and operate specialized radiology equipment
• Ensure correct marking, labeling, and quality of all imaging films
• Provide safe, quality patient care consistently and deliver excellent customer service
• Take on call responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology
• Current ARRT registration
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Two years of diagnostic CT experience (desirable)

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair, move 40 pounds six feet, reach overhead while holding 25 pounds, and push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet. You'll need good stamina, flexibility, manual dexterity, and strong computer skills. Accurate judgment and decision-making abilities are essential when operating delicate imaging equipment.
