RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 36/36 schedule with every other weekend coverage
• No call responsibilities required
• Float to other units when needed
• Maintain 1:7 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult patients in a 35-bed unit with daily census of 35
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First time travelers accepted
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• AHA BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation beginning on Sundays with online CBLs
• Participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Modules average 4-5 hours and are completed during orientation
• Required skills include telemetry monitoring, IV management, medication administration, wound care, and various medical-surgical procedures
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
