About this role
Bozeman Deaconess Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Electrophysiology Lab. In this full-time role, you will work 5x8 day shifts as part of a collaborative team dedicated to cardiac device management and patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist clinic providers in delivering and coordinating patient care to support clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Interrogate cardiac implantable electronic devices, monitor patient response to device therapy, and adjust settings per provider orders
- Manage remote device monitoring and troubleshoot device-related concerns
- Perform diagnostic tests including EKGs, event monitors, Holter monitors, and Zio Patch application and data processing
- Coordinate and schedule surgical and procedural interventions related to cardiac implantable electronic devices
- Arrange and coordinate follow-up care for device clinic patients
- Maintain device clinic databases and patient records to ensure accurate documentation and continuity of care
- Collaborate with radiology, surgical, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams on patient care coordination
- Provide education and ongoing guidance to patients and families regarding cardiac devices, arrhythmia management, and electrophysiology procedures including ablation therapy
- Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum 1 year of registered nursing experience
- Current Montana Registered Nurse license
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and IBHRE certifications
- Experience managing cardiac implantable electronic devices including pacemakers and ICDs
- Experience with device platforms from Biotronik, Medtronic, Abbott, and Boston Scientific
- Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia management and ECG/EKG interpretation
The position may require work beyond standard hours, including weekends and on-call shifts. You must reside at least 90 miles from the facility. This is a 91-day assignment with a start date of November 2, 2026, at $2,920 weekly.
