Interventional Radiology Technician

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10 hour days per week with alternating weekends
• Call rotation required
• Perform minimally invasive procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT and SCQRSA
• Must be proficient with sterile technique
• Properly position patients and perform all radiographic examinations
• Operate all radiographic equipment and maintain familiarity with equipment
• Provide high quality diagnostic images to radiologists for interpretation
• Maintain professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers
• Responsible for patient care, supplies, and equipment maintenance
• Continue professional development through continuing education programs and in-services
• Comply with all system policies to deliver highest quality of service
