MRI Technologist Job in Ithaca, NY

Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 90-day travel contract beginning June 21, 2026. This is a full-time position working three 12-hour shifts per week with weekend coverage requirements.

Schedule and Shift Details

• Thursday and Friday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM
• 12-hour shift format
• Weekend shifts required

Your Role

You will operate MRI equipment and perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a clinical hospital setting. Your responsibilities include patient positioning, protocol execution, equipment operation, and maintaining compliance with imaging standards. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and direct patient interaction.

Requirements

• Current MRI Technologist credentials and licensure as required by New York State
• Proven previous MRI technologist experience
• Qualification to operate MRI equipment safely and effectively
• Ability to work weekend and extended shifts

Compensation and Contract Terms

This contract offers weekly pay of $2,496.60 for the 90-day duration. A contract extension opportunity may be available upon satisfactory performance. You will work with ADEX Healthcare Staffing, a trusted US-based travel healthcare agency.
