Special Procedures Technologist in Wilmington, NC

Join Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Rapid Response as a Special Procedures Technologist in our Radiology and Cardiology Interventional Radiology department. This 13-week travel contract offers you the opportunity to work in a hybrid operating room environment performing advanced vascular and endovascular procedures.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform endovascular and open vascular cases in a hybrid operating room setting
• Conduct peripheral vascular work and endovascular procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, declot, and TCAR
• Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment including Siemens systems, Shockwave, and IVUS
• Work with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Utilize unit systems including EPIC, PACS, SBAR, and PYXIS

Shift and Schedule

3x12 hours, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, with call required once a week and every fourth weekend. A 4x10 hour option (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) is also available.

Requirements

• ARRT R certification required; ARRT VI preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic experience preferred

Additional Information

Contract staff will be assigned to a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualty situations, or disasters.
