Occupational Therapist Job in Redding, CA

You'll work as an Occupational Therapist in the rehabilitation unit at Mercy Medical Center Redding, where you'll collaborate with physical therapists and speech therapy staff to provide patient care across multiple modalities.

Schedule & Duration

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every other weekend requirement with every 3rd weekend rotation
• Holiday schedule aligns with permanent staff rotation
• 91-day contract starting June 15, 2026

Compensation & Support

• Weekly pay: $2,452.80
• 8 hours of floor-specific orientation provided for all modalities
• No floating between units
• PT aides available—one aide Sunday through Tuesday, two aides Wednesday through Saturday
• Manager on-site Monday through Friday during day shifts

Requirements

• California OT license required
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience
• At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
• BLS and COVID vaccination required
• First-time travelers welcome

• Dress code: burgundy polo or button-down long sleeve shirt (provided by hospital), dark solid pants; no scrubs
