Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health – The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for its Surgical Services department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekly pay: $1,872
• Location: Greensboro, NC
• Orientation: 36 hours required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Surgical Tech experience
• Heavy case volume experience in both Orthopedics and Neurology required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification (ARC or AHA)
• Current CST certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an ARC/STSA-accredited Surgical Technology program

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain asepsis by ensuring sterile equipment does not contact unsterile items or surfaces
• Complete basic scrub duties and table set-ups to provide a sterile, prepared surgical environment
• Gather supplies and verify equipment is available and functional before procedures
• Observe and report patient health changes to adapt the care plan as needed
• Verify patient health status data with the circulating nurse to maintain detailed condition records
• Support patients across all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Available to float to any Cone Health campus location as assigned
