Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Day shift, 3x12 schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• 2+ years of labor and birth experience required at a hospital that delivers 350-400 patients monthly
• Work under the supervision of physician/RN reporting to Director/Manager
• Coordinate all supplies and instrumentation needed to perform surgical procedures according to established policies and procedures
• Responsible for disposition and/or decontamination of instruments and supplies in the surgical center
• Assist the RN with patient care planning, interventions, and outcomes
• Work in a unit with 15 labor beds, 7 ante beds, and 4 pre/post beds with a 1:1 patient ratio
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color required: Black
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred certification: CORT
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills required
