Registered Nurse - Operating Room @ Sutter Health Presidio Surgery Center

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in outpatient surgery setting with block scheduling<br>• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts<br>• Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics<br>• Work in 7-room surgical facility with variable daily census<br>• Handle multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, spine, hand, general, pediatric, ENT, plastics, and total joint procedures<br>• Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS<br>• CNOR certification preferred<br>• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required<br>• At least 1 year of specialty experience required<br>• Previous charge experience preferred<br>• Charting system experience required<br>• Must be skilled in various procedures including laparoscopic cases, arthroscopy, total joint replacement, spinal fusions, general surgeries, and trauma cases<br>• Experience with specialized equipment including electrosurgical units, fiber optic systems, cell saver, and robotic surgery preferred<br>• Knowledge of infection control, fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, and malignant hyperthermia protocols required<br>• One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract<br>• 7-year work history verification required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This outpatient surgery center specializes in providing comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties in a modern, efficient setting.
