Emergency Room RN Job in Lima, OH

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Lima Memorial Main Campus. This is a temporary position offering a 91-day assignment beginning July 14, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Three 12-hour shifts per week, nights
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,021.76

Your Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during each shift
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria
• Apply scientific knowledge and clinical skills to make informed patient care judgments
• Assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff including LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries
• Float to other units within your skill level as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience required
• Active Ohio or Compact RN license
• Current skills checklist within 1 year, pertinent to Emergency Room specialty
• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)

You will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, working alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide quality emergency services. Your clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to adapt to changing patient acuity are essential to success in this role.
