<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Stepdown</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotating schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM<br>• Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs of the hospital<br>• Work in HVTI-Stepdown unit with potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and ED for same patient population<br>• Must work at least every other holiday<br>• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS<br>• Must have 18 months of permanent experience in stepdown specialty prior to travel<br>• Must have 18 months of recent stepdown experience (travel experience accepted)<br>• PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required<br>• Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand<br>• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores required<br>• Use Qualivis Lotus for submitting hours worked<br>• Two attempts maximum to pass required assessments or contract will be canceled<br>• Complete badge pickup and onsite fingerprints at facility prior to start date<br>• Complete 6-15 hours of pre-start modules with 4 hours billable</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major academic medical center operates a specialized stepdown unit providing intermediate care for patients requiring closer monitoring than general medical floors but less intensive care than ICU settings.
