ICU RN Job in Albany, GA

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit in Albany, Georgia. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on an every-other-weekend schedule.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care in a designated COVID-positive ICU unit, managing chronically ill patients who require ventilation and complex medication management. Your responsibilities include:

• Titrating pressors and managing intravenous medications for critically ill patients
• Caring for patients with diagnoses including hypertensive urgency, sepsis, and cerebrovascular accident
• Receiving surgical or cardiac ICU patients when primary unit beds are unavailable
• Documenting care using the MEDITECH charting system

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Acute care experience

Assignment Details

This is a 119-day travel assignment starting June 8, 2026. You will earn $2,233.80 per week. Candidates must live within a 75-mile radius of the facility. A 12-hour cancellation notice is required every two weeks.

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is not required for this position. If you have the required certifications, acute care experience, and a valid nursing license, you are encouraged to apply.
