Special Procedures Technologist Job in Fort Worth, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Special Procedures Technologist for Interventional Radiology at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 5, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with alternating days off
• Approximately 10 days of call per month (12–14 shifts monthly)
• Two weekend shifts required per contract
• Weekly pay: $3,110.40
• Four hours of orientation provided

Required Qualifications

• Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist State license
• Current ARRT certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum one year of clinical experience
• Interventional Radiology experience with Neuro background preferred
• At least one professional reference

Core Competencies

• Circulate and scrub procedures
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Monitor procedural sedation
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Ventilator management
• EPIC electronic health record experience required for most units

Patient Population

You will work with adult and geriatric patients, with an average age of 65. The patient population includes indigent patients with multiple comorbidities, requiring compassionate, skilled care in a dynamic interventional setting.
