Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with two schedule options: 3x12 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 4x10 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call required: 5-10 shifts per month, including one full weekend every 4-6 weeks
• Float required between Cath Lab, EP Lab, and IR
• Precepting is required
• Scrubs provided
• Average daily census of 15-20 patients across 4 rooms
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab, IR, or EP Lab RN experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment prior to applying
• IR experience is preferred but not required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Charting system: Cerner
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Special equipment used includes: MacLab, Cerner, HI IQ, Phillips Image, ACIST-IVUS, RAD-NET, DMS, INVISION, Xcelra, and MUSE
• Required skills include: Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Angioplasty, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardiac Stent Placement, Cardioversion, Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures, Endovascular Interventions, IABP Placement/Removal, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Interventional Radiology, IV Vasopressors, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Pacemaker Insertion and Lead Extraction, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Procedural Sedation Administration and Monitoring, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, and Vascular Closure Systems
