ED Registered Nurse Job in Bolivar, Missouri

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts
• Must have travel experience - no exceptions
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required
• No block scheduling available
• Required certifications: BLS, TNCC, ACLS, PALS - no exceptions
• License in hand or compact required at submission
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during days with 1 midshift nurse from noon to midnight
• 4 weekend days per month required unless contract is specifically for weekends
• One pre-approved time off allowed
• May float to different units
• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 12-bed emergency department with daily census of 50
• Skills required include blood product administration, CVA care, emergency medications, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, IV insertion and maintenance, and triage
• Handle general emergency department cases for combined adult and pediatric patients
• Two references required for submission
• Background check policy allows some issues with explanation
