X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Option of 13 or 26 week contract available
• No on-call requirements
• No weekend requirement beyond scheduled shifts
• Minimum 1 year of experience accepted; 2 years preferred
• 1-year candidates must have full-time experience at a Level I Trauma and Children's Hospital with demonstrated OR and fluoroscopic study experience
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Perform acute care imaging including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR procedures
• Proficient in bedside and portable X-ray, trauma imaging, C-arm procedures, and fluoroscopic studies such as barium swallow and esophagram
• Must be able to perform all aspects of X-ray independently
• Ability to adapt to equipment-specific training as needed
• Floating required to other units and campuses based on census and only to units for which competencies have been demonstrated
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS
• Active SCRQSA license required; pending licenses not accepted
