Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating to other units required
• Provide care for medical surgical stroke stepdown patients
• Work with 64-bed unit caring for adult patient population
• Common diagnoses include stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis patients, COPD, CHF, isolation patients, general medical surgical cases, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
• 2+ years of medical surgical experience with stroke stepdown experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS (can be obtained prior to start)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active NY nursing license required
• Navy blue scrubs required
