Occupational Therapist Job in Brownwood, TX

Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood is seeking an Occupational Therapist for outpatient therapy and rehabilitation services. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, with a 5x8 day shift schedule and weekly pay of $2,822.40.

About the Role

You will provide occupational therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working with patients across all age groups from neonates through geriatrics. You'll maintain a 1:1 patient ratio with a 70% productivity requirement and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, ADL needs, cardiac conditions, post-surgical cases, and emergency department referrals.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• NBCOT certification
• Valid Texas occupational therapy license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (2 years in service line preferred)
• Charting system experience (Altera preferred but not required)
• Lab work completion within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Drug screening upon facility arrival, including marijuana testing

Additional Expectations

• 16 hours of orientation required, which includes approximately 6–8 hours of non-billable educational modules
• Weekend coverage commitment of 1 shift per month
• Travel experience is preferred but not required
• You will not be required to perform biofeedback, electrical stimulation, TENS, or ultrasound procedures
