Cath Lab Holding RN Job in Anniston, AL

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Post Intervention Cath Unit at RMC Anniston, a 12-bed step-down unit that receives overflow from the Cardiac Cath Lab and serves adult and geriatric patients. This role offers you direct experience in post-cardiac intervention care in a community hospital setting.

Schedule and Pay

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Every other weekend shift required
• 91-day assignment starting September 21, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,932

Role Responsibilities

You'll manage a patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts. Your daily work includes cardiac telemetry monitoring, heparin protocol management, dysrhythmia interpretation, pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care, sheath removal, TR band management, peripheral and PICC line care, IV placement and maintenance, management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (non-titration), rapid response participation, and wound care.

Required Qualifications

• Current Alabama state or compact nursing license
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• Community hospital experience required
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or Level II facility experience preferred

Support and Resources

You'll have access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services. Requested time off is limited to a maximum of 7 days during your assignment.
