<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Registered Nurse - PCU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• 12-hour shifts with 24 hours of orientation provided<br>• Patient ratios of 1:3-5 based on patient acuity for both days and nights<br>• Weekend coverage required every other weekend per contract<br>• Floating required 100% - may float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) within hospital or affiliate hospitals<br>• Charge nurse responsibilities may be required with training and resources provided<br>• Work with post cardiac surgery and post vascular surgery patients<br>• Must have strong cardiac/post-operative heart experience<br>• Level I or Level II trauma experience required<br>• Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS<br>• Skills required: Telemetry monitoring, IV start and maintenance, cardiac drip titration<br>• Work with Alaris pumps and multiple drips<br>• Must be proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias<br>• Minimum 2 years of experience required<br>• First time travelers accepted<br>• Local Indiana residents not accepted for this position<br>• Call-in shifts must be made up during pay period or added to end of contract<br>• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays<br>• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive medical center providing advanced cardiac and vascular surgical services.
