Cardiovascular Technologist - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• On-call requirements: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 backup per week with 30-minute response time
• Weekend and holiday rotation: every 3rd weekend with holiday rotation
• May be required to float to all Central facility locations if needed
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license preferred (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience required with prior travel experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate degree or certificate preferred
• Efficiently set up operative suites for patients and ensure all supplies are available through case cart preparation
• Scrub surgical cases in various specialties and manage room turnover for multiple procedures daily
• Work with 3 cardiothoracic surgeons handling approximately 50-60 cases per month
• Cardiac/thoracic experience required with thoracic robot experience preferred
• Must be motivated during downtime performing tasks such as pulling case carts and cleaning
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Epic charting system used
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
