Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation required
• No call responsibilities
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:5 in PCU setting
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Must have experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Peripheral line care/management and PICC line management required
• Experience titrating drips required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Subject to floating between all campuses as needed
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Care for adult patients with stroke, renal disorders, sepsis, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, and hematological disorders
• Work on 34-bed General Medical Progressive Care Unit with all telemetry monitored beds
• Utilize centralized cardiac monitoring department for patient surveillance
