Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday with staggered start times
• Call rotation required during the week, weekends, and holidays
• Weekend call runs from 4:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday
• On average, call totals 6-8 shifts per month
• 30-minute call response time required
• Must be able to float amongst all areas of the OR, including circulating and Pre/Post operative areas
• 4 OR suites with approximately 15-20 cases per day
• Common case types include abdominal surgeries, EGDs, colons, general cases, lap chole, appendectomy, hysterectomy, C-sections, podiatry, pain injections, cataracts, plastics, and more
• 1:1 ratio with 5 CSTs preferred per shift
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrubs are provided
• 3-day floor-specific orientation with a preceptor, depending on experience and comfort level
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Certification through NBSTSA not required but is a plus
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius
• Must include a copy of an unexpired driver's license with submission
