Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with variable day off
• Call only requirement on weekends
• On-call 1 weekday per week and rotating weekends based on staffing levels
• May float within facility and scope of practice as needed, including to Cath and EP with required procedures
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first time travelers accepted
• Daily census of 12 to 24 patients across 3 rooms
• Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• If one or two major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work two
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required skills include: angiography, angioplasty, aortography, cardiac ablation, cardiac stent placement, carotid angiography and stenting, central venous access, chest tube placement, embolization, endovascular interventions, IVC filter placement, liver biopsy, nephrostomy, paracentesis, PICC line care and maintenance, radiofrequency ablation, renal angiography, stent placement, thoracentesis, thrombolysis and thrombectomy, TIPS, vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty, and additional interventional radiology procedures
• Equipment experience with Philips and Siemens systems required
• PACS experience required
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
