Medical Lab Technician Job in Boise, ID

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 90-day travel assignment. You will work variable night and evening shifts as a critical member of the laboratory team, performing essential testing and analysis that directly supports patient care.

Position Details:

• Shift: 4x10 nights (variable hours including 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM or 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM)
• Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off rotation with Monday through Friday assignments and rotating weekends
• On-call requirement every third weekend
• Duration: 90 days
• Start date: August 23, 2026

Compensation:

• Weekly pay: $2,002

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• ASCP (MLT) certification required
• Valid credentials and licensure as applicable in Idaho

As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will collect and analyze blood samples, perform routine and specialized tests, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure accurate documentation of results. Your work contributes directly to diagnosis and treatment decisions for patients throughout the medical center.
