PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday schedule with one weekend per month required
• No call responsibilities
• Float within facility/scope of practice (acute care) and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers
• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, State licensed (in hand)
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Skills required: Acute Care, Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Geriatrics, Long Term Goals, Neurology, Orthopedics, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Rehabilitation Hospital, Short Term Goals, Time Management
• Holiday requirements: Expected to work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• 8 hours of orientation required
• GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at time of submission
• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract
