PCU Registered Nurse Job in Greensboro, NC

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Rotating weekends required
• Float required as needed across all facilities
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for all shifts
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Neuro PCU experience required
• Must have experience with CVA, External CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, Yale Swallowing screen
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass mandatory Pass/Fail EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Care for medical neurological patients including stroke, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, movement disorders, and epilepsy monitoring
• Work with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Staff scheduled for 6-week periods through self-assisted scheduling system
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract
