Telemetry RN Job in Martinsburg, WV

WVU Berkeley Medical Center is seeking an RN for their Telemetry unit in Martinsburg, WV. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 5, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Rotating weekend nights (Friday/Saturday) and holiday schedule based on unit needs
• Weekly pay: $2,420
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Charting via EPIC

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients using Phillips Cardiac Monitors; read and document strips every 4 hours
• Manage cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Labetalol, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Heparin, Integrilin per protocol, and Nitro set-rate drips
• Manage Bipap, Cpap, and High Flow oxygen per Respiratory Therapy protocols
• Care for patients with elevated troponin, active chest pain, pre/post cardiac catheterization with or without intervention, post-STEMI recovery, NSTEMI, peritoneal dialysis, pacemakers, and occasional post-surgical and oncology patients

• Hospitalist available in-house 24/7
• Respiratory Therapy available in-house 24/7
• 24/7 in-house Pharmacy with Omnicell system
• No IV Team on unit
• 1–2 days of floor-specific orientation depending on your experience

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• BSN not required

Dress Code and Appearance

• Navy blue scrubs required; navy or white jacket; white or navy undershirt
• Natural hair color only (no pink, purple, or blue)
• Distasteful tattoos must be covered

Opportunity for Charge Nurse and Precepting roles available. Client may cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment (or 1 shift for assignments under 13 weeks).
