Occupational Therapist Job in Augusta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment at Doctors Hospital - Augusta GA. This is a full-time inpatient rehabilitation role on a 28-bed unit.

Position Details

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM (5x8 evenings)
• Duration: 91 days, starting June 22, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,898
• Caseload: 4–6 patients with 3–4 patients treated per day on average; occasional 5-patient days
• No floating policy

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy treatment and rehabilitation services to inpatient population
• Manage patient caseload and document in Meditech
• Perform wound care procedures as needed on the unit
• Work with 2 therapy techs during weekdays and 1 on weekends
• Utilize specialized equipment: hi-low mats, NuStep, parallel bars, steps, balls, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, and BITS interactive computer system

Scheduling & Requirements

• Monday–Friday schedule with flexible start and end times
• 2 weekends required during the 13-week assignment, integrated with regular staff rotation and 2 additional days off during the week
• Minimum 1 year of patient care experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with inpatient rehabilitation and the Care Tool preferred
• Dress code: Black scrubs and closed-toe shoes
