OR RN Job in Portland, ME

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a travel assignment in the Operating Room at MMC-P - Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a 91-day contract starting January 25, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Work three 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 1:4 weekend rotation required
• One overnight call shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) for trauma call
• Specialty team call scheduled per team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)
• Weekly pay: $2,693.70

Role Requirements

You will work in a 26-bed operating room unit with a 1:1 patient ratio. Minimum 3 years of Level 1 trauma experience is required. You must be competent in the following procedures: Robotics (DaVinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies.

Required clinical experience includes General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular procedures. You must be comfortable treating patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Equipment and Systems

• Work with Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot equipment
• Epic EMR system experience required

Credentials and Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• CNOR certification preferred
• Proof of flu vaccination required
• Demonstrate flexibility, accountability, timeliness, and teamwork
