Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Wichita, KS

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on a 4x10 schedule, with on-call responsibilities including one weekend per month and one night per week.

In this role, you'll support both outpatient and inpatient interventional procedures, handling approximately 10–12 cases daily. You'll work with advanced imaging equipment including two Philips biplanes and one GE single plane system.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with embolization, Y-90 procedures, and peripheral interventions
• Supporting trauma cases, drain placements, and biopsies
• Handling spine procedures
• Assisting with stroke thrombectomy and neuro coiling cases
• Supporting diagnostic cerebral procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of current IR Tech experience
• BLS and ARRT (R) certifications
• Active Kansas licensure
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong patient care focus

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior stroke case experience
• Travel experience at large trauma facilities
