Medical Lab Technician

Med Tech (Medical Tech) - MLT

Job Details:

• Work graveyard shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Friday through Sunday
• Weekend and holiday requirements included
• Possible call or standby call requirements
• Acute care setting
• Work independently on overnight shifts across all areas of the laboratory
• Cover all laboratory areas including Hematology/Serology, Chemistry/Coag, Microbiology, and Blood Bank
• Must be proficient in all areas of the lab including blood bank
• Generalist experience required
• Phlebotomy not required
• Utilize Epic as the primary charting system
• Work with Wellsky for blood bank, URT for QC program, and Data Innovations for middleware
• No self-scheduling allowed; schedule is set on a 6-week block
• No dress code; scrubs or business casual with close-toed shoes acceptable
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via AMT or ASCP
