PCU RN Job in Omaha, NE

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12 night shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM), every other weekend requirement, and every third holiday requirement. There is no call or standby.

In this fast-paced 35-bed progressive care unit, you'll care for adults and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring needs. You'll manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5 and titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications. You may float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed.

Compensation and Assignment Details

• Weekly pay: $2,417.76
• Assignment start: May 11, 2026
• You must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
• A valid driver's license is required at submission

Orientation and Requirements

• First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days of floor orientation
• You must pass an open-book exam on Friday during orientation with a 90% score
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• BSN is not required

Clinical Details

• The facility uses EPIC charting system
• Artificial nails are prohibited; refusal to remove them will result in contract termination
