Physical Therapist Job in Oregon, MO

You will provide direct physical therapy services in a long-term care setting at Tide Health Group - Oregon Care Center. This is a part-time position working days, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, for a 91-day assignment beginning June 15, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs
• Develop and implement plans of care that follow all regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress regularly and adjust treatments as needed
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services based on patient response
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Communicate effectively with your supervisor and the health team about patient progress and treatment plans
• Document all required clinical and regulatory information in the electronic documentation system
• Accurately record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings
• Attend required facility trainings, in-services, and conferences
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students

Requirements

• Current Missouri state physical therapy license
• Minimum 1 year of PT experience (new graduates with Level II experience are acceptable)
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Adherence to APTA practice standards, code of conduct, and ethical requirements

This position does not require on-call duties or weekend work. You will work a standard day schedule Monday through Friday.
