About this role

Join McLeod Seacoast Hospital as a Physical Therapist in our outpatient department. You'll deliver evidence-based care to a diverse patient population in a professional healthcare setting.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients referred for physical therapy using specialized testing procedures to assess strength, range of motion, coordination, perception, sensation, ambulation, transfers, and bed mobility
  • Develop individualized physical therapy plans of care with short and long-term goals
  • Perform treatments as ordered in a safe and timely manner, treating orthopedic and general physical therapy cases as well as geriatric populations
  • Complete medical documentation in accordance with APTA standards of care
  • Supervise treatment team operations and meet regularly with PTAs to discuss patients and establish goals
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of patient records and facility operations
  • Work collaboratively with staff on professional skill development, new programs, and patient treatment plans
  • Attend and participate in services, meetings, and educational sessions
  • Maintain professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers
  • Ensure an orderly, clean, and safe work area
  • Adhere to all facility and corporate policies and procedures
  • Adjust schedules to accommodate changes in department caseload

Schedule and Compensation

Work Monday through Friday, 5x8 days. Your schedule may be either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). You'll earn $2,628 weekly on a 90-day assignment beginning May 3, 2026.

Position Requirements

You must be comfortable evaluating and treating general outpatient physical therapy and geriatric populations. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist and a degree in Therapy are required.
