EEG Technician Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as an EEG Technician at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, providing electroencephalography services across inpatient and outpatient settings. Your role centers on performing and monitoring continuous EEGs in neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations, including long-term monitoring (LTM), ICU, and epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) coverage.

• Weekly pay: $1,261.44
• Location: Clinical Neurophysiology Lab, 4th floor, Mission Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EEG electrode placement, including collodion application
• Operate Natus Xltek equipment for EEG acquisition and monitoring
• Document findings in Cerner Powerchart electronic medical record system
• Provide weekend and on-call coverage with rotating schedule
• Deliver care to diverse patient populations from neonatal through adult

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered EEG Technician credential
• Minimum 4+ years inpatient hospital experience
• Neonatal and pediatric EEG experience required
• Collodion application experience preferred
• Strong ability to work independently and collaborate with clinical team
