<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends unless making up hours when a holiday falls during the week<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required<br>• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required<br>• Missouri PTA license required<br>• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment interventions under Physical Therapist supervision<br>• Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions<br>• Administer procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices<br>• Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments<br>• Document all regulatory and clinically required information in electronic documentation system<br>• Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided<br>• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings<br>• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers<br>• Supervise and support students under Physical Therapist guidance<br>• Adhere to APTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities focused on providing comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with physical functioning disorders.
