Job Details:

• Work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatrics
• Provide services across multiple units including Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric Cardiac ICU, Trach/vent unit, Emergency room, and General Respiratory Care
• Perform medicated aerosol therapy including small volume nebulizers, breath actuated nebulizers, and vibrating mesh nebulizers
• Provide patient education for aerosol, MDI, and DPI therapy
• Administer pentamidine and manage medication carts and Omnicell systems
• Conduct airway clearance therapy including clapping, vibration, directed cough, and positive expiratory pressure treatments
• Manage hyperinflation therapy, high frequency chest wall oscillation, and intermittent percussive ventilation
• Perform airway management including suctioning, tracheostomy care, manual ventilation, and intubation assistance
• Operate mechanical ventilation systems, CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV, and negative pressure ventilation
• Handle high-risk delivery situations including surfactant administration and NRP protocol
• Conduct blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
• Provide humidity therapy and manage clinical practice guidelines for asthma, CF, RDS, and BPD prevention
• Monitor patients using pulse oximetry, peak flow meters, capnography, and transcutaneous CO2 monitoring
• Participate in transport services including HFNC portable units and MRI internal transport
• Interface with attending physicians, fellows, APPs, PAs, NPs, hospitalists, residents, nursing staff, and other disciplines
