OR Nurse Job in Greeley, CO

Join Banner North Colorado Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This is a 4x10 day shift role offering $2,662 weekly pay for an 89-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

About the Role

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural dimensions. You will review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers.

You will formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical requirements. Coordinating, delegating, and supervising health care team activities will be essential to implementing the plan of care. You will evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan as needed. Accurate and timely documentation in the patient record is required for all assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities.

Your Contributions

You will participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives and contribute to the education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel. When appropriate, you will precept and mentor staff to support professional growth. You will actively participate in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months
• Colorado CAPS certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Fine motor skills, adequate eye-hand coordination, and ability to grasp and handle objects
• Willingness to use standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
