ED Registered Nurse Job in Waupaca, WI

ThedaCare - Waupaca is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel contract starting July 20, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,332.80.

Position Details

• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week (36 guaranteed hours weekly)
• 8-bed emergency room with 1:4 patient ratio
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation required
• Float to all ThedaCare facilities as needed
• No on-call or callback requirements

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience
• Minimum 2+ years emergency room experience
• At least one completed travel contract (no new travelers)
• Epic charting experience within the last year
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• NIHSS certification
• Associate Degree or Certificate minimum; BSN strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills
