Med Surg RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will join OU Health in Oklahoma City as a Med Surg RN working full-time nights. This 89-day travel position offers you the opportunity to deliver evidence-based nursing care in a medicine specialty unit while gaining experience in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care
• Educate patients and their families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Follow evidence-based nursing practices and facility protocols
