Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• Day shift hours: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Night shift hours: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5, with potential to stretch to 1:6
• Required certifications: RN, ACLS, BLS
• Telemetry experience required
• Work with equipment including Pyxis, Alaris Pumps, Bladder Scanners, EKGs, Atrium Chest Tubes, Dinamaps, and Vein Finder
• EMR system: Meditech Expanse
• Care for patients with conditions including vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, general surgery, telemetry, peripheral vascular disease, sepsis, atherosclerosis, GI bleeds, chest tubes, and arrhythmias
• Preferred skills include surgical bariatrics, cardiac experience, vascular surgery, and wound vac/dressing changes
• Float to like Med-Surg units and other areas of the hospital such as PCU/ED when patients are overflowing, with same patient types
• Ideal candidate is a team player, hard working, multi-tasker, and flexible
