PCU RN Job in Tucson, Arizona

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 89-day travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. You will work 3x12 night shifts at BUMC Tucson (1625 N Campbell Ave), earning $2,582.10 weekly.

Role Overview

You will join the Resource Float Pool team, floating between two campuses across various Adult Health units. Your assignments may include Observation units (2), Medical-Surgical units (4), PCU, and IMC across 11 total units. You may occasionally float to the Emergency Department or PACU to provide care for Adult Health patients with inpatient orders. This varied schedule offers flexible assignments while maintaining acute care focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for assigned patients
• Provide direct patient care with emphasis on coordination, delegation and supervision
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Document assessment findings and patient responses in medical records
• Participate in patient and family education initiatives
• Respond quickly to patient care needs and maintain physical demands of the role

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Active acute care experience within the past 12 months
• Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required
• BLS certification current and valid
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred

This assignment offers the opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma center with diverse patient populations across multiple unit types. You will develop flexibility and gain experience across acute care settings while maintaining consistent night shift scheduling.
