Special Procedures Technologist in Savannah, GA

You'll join Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah as a Special Procedures Technologist on a 91-day travel assignment starting June 8, 2026. This role offers $2,774 weekly pay for 4 ten-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with on-call responsibilities.

You'll work in a dedicated Angiography/Interventional Radiology department with three labs: two dedicated IR labs and one hybrid OR. You'll maintain 1:1 patient ratios while operating as part of 3–4 person teams typically composed of 2 technologists and 2 RNs. This staffing configuration ensures consistent support for complex procedures.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operating specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
• Performing technical support for procedures including Permcath placement, Port placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE intervention, Stroke intervention, and Trauma procedures
• Managing critical care drips in a high-acuity patient population
• Documenting procedures using the EPIC Cupid system
• Supporting stroke and trauma care interventions

You must have:

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Documented critical care or angiography/IR experience
• ICU or ER experience
• Critical care drip management experience
• Angiography/IR experience including stroke and trauma procedures

No floating policy applies—you'll remain in your assigned specialty area. You'll wear the required uniform of navy blue and black for technologist positions. This assignment offers the opportunity to work with a well-established clinical team in a high-volume interventional setting without unit rotation.
