Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 90-day travel assignment in our Telemetry unit. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to expand your nursing experience in a dynamic medical-surgical telemetry environment.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Telemetry (medical-surgical patients)
• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Duration: 90 days
• Start date: June 15, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,213.64

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to patient condition changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and medical records
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge planning

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure (Iowa)
