ED Registered Nurse Job in York, PA

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule, with weekend coverage required every third weekend and holiday coverage as needed. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,131.66.

Key Details:

• Level I Trauma Center requiring 2+ years of emergency nursing experience and prior travel assignments
• No on-call requirements; no blocked schedules approved
• Floating required as needed, including rotation to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU)
• Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract

Clinical Requirements:

You must be proficient in triage, IV vasopressor administration, arterial line management, chest tube management, intubation, procedural sedation, blood product administration, cardiac rhythm interpretation and management, 12-lead EKG/ECG interpretation, and management of trauma, behavioral health, and neurological conditions. You will care for patients across all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Credentials and Certifications:

• Current Pennsylvania RN license (no license hits accepted)
• Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS; TNCC and NIHSS preferred
• AHA or ARC certifications only
• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred

Facility Requirements:

This is a tobacco and fragrance-free facility. You must have Level I Trauma Center experience prior to starting. First-time travelers are not accepted for this role.
