Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Swedish CO is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment on the 7 North-Spine unit in Denver, Colorado. You will work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18–20 bed medical-surgical unit
• Maintain a 6:1 patient ratio with LPN support
• Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
• Manage wound care, ostomy care, and other post-operative needs
• Operate equipment including Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
• Document and communicate patient status using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a charge nurse, 2–3 RNs, 1 LPN, and 1–3 PCTs during day shifts

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Burn care experience preferred
• Wound care and ostomy care experience preferred
