Cath Lab Technologist Job in Portland, OR

Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment. You will work 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities including approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks.

Assignment Details

• 13 or 26 week assignment available
• Start date: June 15, 2026
• Weekly pay: $3,428.35

Your Role

You will serve as a scrub technologist and first assistant to the operator in a cardiology interventional setting. Your responsibilities include equipment setup, supply stocking, and maintaining sterile technique and sterile field during complex cardiac procedures. You will work with adult and geriatric patient populations and will be expected to float within the site and across the health system as requested.

Required Experience & Credentials

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Cath Lab and Angiography with scrub experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• ARRT-R (radiologic technologist certification)
• OBMI (Oregon state license)
• Oregon state license or proof of license application with fingerprints

Procedures & Equipment

You will assist with complex cardiac interventions utilizing equipment such as OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, drug coated balloons, and CTO equipment. You will handle insertion of Impella CP, RP, 5.5, IABP, Manifold, balloon and stent prep and deployment, and pericardiocentesis procedures.

Requirements

• Scrub experience required as first assistant to operator
• Willingness to float within site and across the health system
• Complete assigned education within one week of assignment
• Cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility
