X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - X-Ray Tech - 151

Job Details:

• Work rotating 24/7 shifts including weekends, afternoons, midnights, and holidays
• Hospital shifts: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Outpatient Center shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Saturday shift: 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM (rotational coverage required)
• Perform imaging for both inpatient and outpatient areas as required
• Work with 2 designated X-ray rooms (one for inpatient, one for outpatient) plus 2 portable units
• Complete 200+ scans/studies per day on patients of all ages
• Work with MRI equipment including 1.5 Tesla magnets (Siemens Espree and Toshiba Atlas)
• Average daily patient volume: 25-32 studies between both sites Monday-Friday
• 30-minute call response time requirement
• Light grey scrubs provided
• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS
• Must provide own radiation badge (facility will not provide)
• Customized department orientation based on traveler experience
• Use Cerner EMR system (transitioning to Epic)
• IV starts not required
• License hits must be disclosed at time of submission
